Norwegian Melody

Arranged for three, six, or multiple cellos with piano accompaniment. Originally composed by Edvard Grieg, and arranged by Grace Becker Vamos. The work requires advanced beginner/early intermediate bowing, though the articulations required throughout the work call for an intermediate performer.  Melodic components are shared throughout all three parts, and solo artistic expressions are common in each part. The challenge is a work written as Andante molto tranquillo, moving to Adagio with tenuto and cantabile settings. A double-stop morendo closes the work for the 3^rd player. ASTA LEVEL: 3/4.
