Written solely in the upper positions, this exercise provides an excellent supplement to any method book on early-intermediate thumb position. Emphasis is placed on precision within a single position, with opportunity to develop treble clef fluency and left-hand agility. Pair with Lullaby and/or Polka for a well-rounded application of thumb position technique.
